How They're Made

I hand-letter your chosen text in the font or mixed font combination of your choice onto thick, archival-quality paper using a fade-resistant black ink. 

Please note that your sign will arrive unframed (more details below).

 

Custom Specifications

Text

The quote on each sign can be up to 30 words, lettered in up to 2 different font styles. Refer to this website and my Instagram for examples of my past work, or attach a reference photo when you fill out the form below.

If you need help figuring out which style you love, email me! That's one of my favorite parts of this job ― and we'll come up with something beautiful together.

 

Frames

By default, all paper signs arrive unframed. This gives you or your gift recipient the freedom to choose a frame that fits the piece's new home perfectly! (And don't worry ― I will securely package your sign using cardboard sheets and a rigid mailer envelope to protect it on its way to you.)

If you're planning to use a frame with a mat, which makes the visible area of the art smaller, please include the frame and mat dimensions when filling out the form below. This way, I can size the art appropriately and avoid any of it being covered up by the mat.

If you are unsure about how large the text should be on the page, or have any other framing questions, let me know! I will work with you until we get the sizing just right. Which brings me to...

Size

Paper signs can be any size up to 11 inches by 14 inches (30 cm by 35.5 cm). You can choose from a list of common sizes or give me a specific height and width to fit your space perfectly! Common sizes include:

- 4 in x 6 in (10,2 cm x 15.2 cm)
- 5 in x 7 in (12.7 cm x 17.8 cm)
- 8.5 in x 8.5 in (21.6 cm x 21.6 cm)
- 8 in x 10 in (20.3 cm x 25.4 cm)
- 11 in x 14 in (30 cm by 35.5 cm)

Pricing

Custom paper signs start at $45, with the final cost depending on the size and text you choose. Payment is broken into two payments: a 50% deposit before I begin your order, and the remaining 50% after the sign is complete.
